Aspen Fuel 4 Long Life Fuel - 5 Litres (BLUE)

Aspen fuel is alkylate petrol.  It is available as a 4-stroke fuel or a 2-stroke fuel.  Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains no ethanol.

We highly recommend using Aspen fuel in your garden machinery, particularly occasional use equipment. It has a much longer shelf life  of 4-5 years compared to regular pump unleaded fuel, which will begin deteriorating after just 1-2 months!  It will help prevent break downs due to stale fuel.

Aspen 4 (without 2-stroke oil) is suitable for lawnmowers, rotary cultivators, snow blowers, boats and other 4-stroke engines. 

Aspen 2 (premixed at 50:1 with a premium quality biodegradable 2-stroke oil) is suitable for chainsaws, clearing saws, hedge trimmers, power cutters and other land-based 2-stroke engines.

Ordinary petrol contains ethanol which attracts moisture and can cause engine failures.

Aspen fuel is virtually free from harmful substances such as benzene, aromatic hydrocarbons or olefins; substances that can cause serious health problems. Aspen Alkylate Petrol also keeps the spark plugs and combustion chamber of your machine cleaner. Aspen can be stored for a long time without any deterioration in quality, which makes your engine easy to start – even after long standstill periods. There are numerous environmental benefits, such as reducing the formation of ground-level ozone (smog) by about 40%.

Note regarding Stihl machinery only

Delivery by carrier

For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode).  However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.

PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you. 

For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT

Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge. 

Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.

We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.

Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers. 

Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems. 

Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days.  If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.

Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available. 

Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse.  Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.

Delivery of some products (mainly garden tractors and attachments) is limited to the local area as indicated by the list of postcodes below. Delivery is direct from our store in Swanwick using our own vehicles. One of our sales staff will personally contact you and arrange a convenient time to deliver your purchase.

Timing of your delivery

If the timing of your delivery is important to you, please check availability of goods before ordering, as if we have to order from our suppliers, then these delivery times will be longer.
