Cobra Fortis lawnmowers are not only precision designed, reliable machines, they also effortlessly create a beautiful finish on every lawn or sports pitch they cut. With their interchangeable cartridges, they provide a complete lawncare solution from scarifying and aerating, brushing or giving an ultra-low cut of 3m for that extra fine finish ideal for formal gardens or sports pitches. All Fortis cylinder lanwmowers are equipped with a heavy-duty drive system giving improved performance and increased durability while offering the user easy maintenance and adjustment, a heavy-duty split rear roller which produces a beautiful striped finish while giving improved manoeuvrability and less damage to the lawn.
These battery versions are powered by EGO's 56v Lithium-ion battery range delivering optimal power and performance with less noise, fumes and fuss than the petrol-powered versions. They are compatible with all batteries in the range offering you the ability to tailor the run-time to suit your individual needs.
The Cobra Fortis 14E is supplied with 2 4Ah EGO 56v Lithium-ion batteries; the unique ARC batteries are designed to maximise performance, lasting longer, charging quickly and delivering optimal power and performance each and every time. The cylinder mower has a handy LCD display screen which is integrated into the control panel giving the operator essential information at a quick glance; this includes travel speed, a real-time summary of working time and battery level remaining.
It is quick and easy to start at the turn of a key (also used to keep batteries secure in the mower, the key locks and unlocks this compartment giving you added security and peace of mind) You can control the power delivered to the blades, choosing from either Eco or Turbo modes to best suit your cutting needs. The blades and the speed of the machine are matched so when the ground speed increases, the cutting capacity is increased meaning there is no drop in the quality of the finish.
Supplied with a finely crafted, 6-bladed cutting system featuring razor sharp blades, it gives an impressive 79 cuts per meter. If you like a shorter cut, please see the 10-bladed cutting cartridge which s sold separately here, this will cut down to 3mm giving a fine, sports finish to your lawn. The cutting height is simple to adjust allowing you greater flexibility and control over the finish of you lawn and offers a cutting range of 30mm down to 6mm (with the standard 6-bladed cutting cartridge).
Equipped with two steel front and rear rollers, it gives a lovely striped finish. The rear roller is split and has a differential allowing for a much easier turn while also minimising damage to the lawn from scuffing, and the front roller is interchangeable with a grooved roller if required (sold separately, here)
This mower is provided with a two year domestic warranty or a 1 year professional warranty for peace of mind.
