Hollow Tine Lawn Aerator.
The NEW hollow tine aerator is a professional style lawn care tool which has been designed to help improve lawn health; it works by removing compacted cores of soil from the ground allowing air water and nutrients to reach the grass roots, while improving drainage and and relieving soil compaction. This method is widely regarded as one of the most effective methods to maintain a healthy, vigorous lawn and is ideally suited to seasonal maintenance or regular lawn renovation but both domestic and professional users alike.
Unlike the spiked aerator that simply punctures the the soil, this hollow tine system on this tool extracts plugs of soil creating lasting channels that encourage stronger root development and improved soil structure. It makes this the ideal choice for lawns that suffer from regular or heavy foot traffic, poor drainage or very compacted ground conditions. It is designed for use by homeowners, landscapers and lawn care professionals seeking proven and long-lasting results to maintain a lush, resilient lawn.
It features five hollow steel tines each with a diameter of 16mm and a working depth of 115mm and a slip resistant footplate giving you stable and confident downward pressure, there is even a tool supplied to remove the plugs of soil should they need some assistance! The soft-grip handle easily folds down thangs to the wingnuts making it very easy to store in a shed or garage and at only 2.5kg in weight, it is easy to move around.
As with the entire hand tool range from Hayter, it is finished in a long-lasting anti-rust paint and is provided with 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
