The NEW Harrier 56 is the first professional mower from Hayter to feature a Crank-Safe Blade Brake Clutch system which saves your shoulders by not having to restart the engine multiple times in the day. It is a simple system which allows you to stop the blades but not the engine perfect for emptying the grass bag or from moving over pathways to get to separate lawned areas. As with all of the professional range, It features a reinforced rear roller adding weight and additional traction and stability, a chain-guard cover enhancing the durability of the transmission and it is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 850E I/C engine giving great performance time and time again.
The largest aluminium cutting deck within the Hayter range makes it perfectly suited to tackling large grassed areas up to 1000m², thanks to the trim side deck design, you are able to mow right up to raised flower beds, borders and walls leaving less trimming required afterwards. The full-width rear roller is split making turning at the end of a cut extremely easy with no damage to the lawn, while giving additional traction and stability and all the while producing a beautiful striped finish which you would expect from a Hayter lawnmower.
This AutoDrive system has three speed settings allowing you to choose from 1.9, 2.5 or of 3.2mph allowing you to tailor the speed to suit your cutting conditions. Let the Harrier 56 take some of the strain out of mowing the lawn, you can simply just walk behind and steer.

The Hayter company was started by Douglas Hayter in 1946. They have been designing and producing premium quality lawn mowers at their headquarters in Hertfordshire for over 75 years!
2021 saw the launch of the new Hayter Green Series battery operated mowers and machinery.
With the GreenSeries™ Hayter introduced their battery powered lawnmowers which are right up-to date and environmentally green in nature as well as green in name.
The Green series mowers are available in three ranges. The four wheel steel bodied Osprey, the compact Hawk roller models or aluminium bodied rear roller Harrier range in three sizes from 41 to 56cm.
To help you decide which mower would be best for you, it's really useful to know how big your lawn is! One of our suppliers, Husqvarna, have a great tool that makes use of satellite mapping so that you can draw around your garden to get a lawn size measurement. Although the tool was originally designed to help choose which of their Automowers would best suit your garden, it can equally well be used to establish the size of your garden when choosing a walk behind mower.

Delivery by carrier
For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode). However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.
PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you.
For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT
Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.
Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers.
Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems.
Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days. If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.
Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available.
Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse. Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.
