STIHL HTA 150: PROFESSIONAL SHORT, SHAFT POLE PRUNER WITH 30cm / 12" BAR.
The HTA 150 is ideal for professionals working in forestry, landscaping and orchard maintenance; with it's short, rigid shaft it is efficient and capable of pruning, thinning and completing general maintenance of branches up to 20cm in diameter. It is fitted as standard with a 3/8" P saw chain resulting in low vibrations and a clean, precise cut, but can also be fitted with a 1/4" Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain which is ideally suited for maintaining fruit trees.
Powered by STIHL's AP system lithium-ion batteries, it is much quieter than a petrol pole pruner and also benefits from having no fumes and less vibrations. The powerful EC motor is low weight, highly efficient and thanks to the air filter with it's fine, metal mesh, it gets optimal cooling which leads to a long service life. This combined with the lightweight magnesium gearhead gives increased weight reduction with no compromise in terms of robustness helping to relieve strain on the operator, especially useful during those extended working periods. The rigid, professional shaft gives a fixed working length of 196cm and increased manoeuvrability when working in enclosed, tree-lined areas.
The single-handed, multi-function handle offers easy adjustment of tool performance to get that extra power when needed or to conserve battery life when used at lower speeds. The practically designed control handle with the speed control allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your hand position or stop work.
Recommend for use with the AP 300 S battery (*sold separately*), you will get a working time of up to 60 minutes before you have to re-charge.
