THE BRA 600 CORDLESS BACKPACK BLOWER: 72V PROFESSIONAL BLOWER WITH UP TO 35N OF BLOWING FORCE.
The STIHL BRA 600 is the second of two new cordless backpack blowers from STIHL; combining the power of two AP system batteries and a powerful 72V motor, it delivers a powerful blowing experience that is the equivalent to the BR 700 petrol backpack blower. This makes it capable of handling the most demanding cleaning jobs in large areas such as parks or fields while being able to efficiently clear heavy debris such as wet leaves, grass, hedge trimmings or other rubbish. On low power (with two AP 500 S batteries fitted) it will deliver 22N, and when placed on boost, this is increased to an impressive 35N. Working times range from 34 minutes down to 18 minutes and with STIHL'S constant power delivery system, you will always experience the full power available, no matter if the battery is at 100% or charge or 10% charge.
Thanks to the innovative noise reduction system from STIHL, volume (sound power level) is significantly reduced for bystanders making it ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas; this system means that the high-pitched frequency usually associated with cordless blowers is also greatly minimised and sound emissions are reduced at the turbine point in such a way that the blower will sound much quieter to surrounding people.
The backpack weighs 14.5kg (with two AP 500 S batteries fitted) and while this sounds fairly heavy, it has excellent weight distribution thanks to the positioning of the batteries and the motor snugly against the operators back. The carrying system is extremely comfortable to wear thanks to the padding which is the same as is fitted to the BR 800 petrol backpack blower.
PLEASE NOTE: While the sound level never exceeds 94 dB(A), ear protection will still be required for the operator.

This blower is designed for use with two AP system batteries, it cannot be used with only one and is also not compatible with the AR batteries. If you already own an AR 2000 or 3000 L, Stihl recommend the BGA 300 as your best alternative.
