BCS 706 PowerSafe Rotavator

COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT AND INCREDIBLY VERSATILE ROTAVATOR.

The BCS 706 SmartSafe is a small two-wheeled tractor featuring a mechanical transmission, it is reversible and easily transportable and the fully adjustable handlebars make it ideal for a whole range of tasks. It's small design and low weight make it ideal for manoeuvring in confined areas where larger, bulkier equipment would be impractical. It is perfect for a host of jobs including tiling, grass cutting and even snow removal, making it the ideal choice for land owners and hobby farmers maintaining small-scale agricultural land and larger garden plots.

It features a single speed forward and reverse drive ensuring smooth and efficient operation over a number of terrains and the heavy-duty agricultural wheels help to provide excellent grip and drive over even the most difficult ground. This along with the other handy features and benefits really make the 706 a formidable machine for a variety of users.

This model is fitted with the exclusive SmartSafe clutch from BCS which features multiple steel discs in an oil bath, this ensures greater reliability and performance with less maintenance when compared to the traditional inverted conical clutches. Washers between the discs act as an automatic brake instantly stopping the PTO in emergencies while allowing the engine to stay running for quick resumption of work.

Driving Position.
The handlebars are fully reversable by 180° allowing for a range of attachments to be fitted to both the front and the rear of the engine; they are also height adjustable meaning a variety of users can work comfortably and easily and they can also be adjusted to the side of the machine so that you are not walking in the freshly worked ground. As well as the wide range of adjustment, they are also mounted onto a silent block to greatly reduce vibrations and combined with the ergonomic controls and comfortable positioning, they help to lessen operator fatigue even when used for extended working periods.

Safety Features.
The PowerSafe hydraulic clutch ensures the immediate stop of both the PTO and the wheels as soon as the operator releases the handlebar. The engine will remain running and work can be safely and quickly resumed thanks to the dual-action system - simply pull the clutch lever before lowering the red safety lever. When you are working with a rear implement attached, the PTO will automatically disengage when reverse gear is selected.

Range of Attachments.
There are a whole range of attachments suitable for this machine, allowing you to carry out a host of different tasks with the need for only one engine. The 706 is supplied as standard with the 46cm/18" rotary hoe but you can choose from the laser scythe cutter bar, a dozer attachment, power brush and hay rake to mention a few.
