MS 201 C-M PETROL CHAINSAW: COMPACT AND POWERFUL 1.8KW PROFESSIONAL CHAINSAW.
The STIHL MS 201 is light, agile and designed for precision making it perfect for harvesting thin wood, delimbing and tending young stands in the forestry section. It is fitted with STIHL's economic 2-MIX engine giving more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions. The fully electronic M-Tronic management system ensures consistent engine performance by monitoring and adjusting ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes, this makes manual carburettor adjustments unnecessary. Thanks to the innovative cold/warm start recognition, there is only one start position on the combi-lever and the engine will start after only a few pulls and be able to immediately accelerate up to speed - even after a cold start.
There are handy features to help keep you in control whilst working, like captive nuts that will not get lost when changing the bar, the side chain tensioner making getting the right chain tension quicker and easier. The variable-displacement oil pump and the EMatic chain lubrication system ensure that you are more in control of making sure your chain is oiled correctly for the work being carried out, this lengthens the life of the chain and also reduces oil consumption by up to 50%.
