The COBRA SA40C is a petrol scarifier powered by a COBRA 4-stroke engine; with 212cc it is ideal for gardens up to 600m², incorporating the latest engine design technologies, it delivers optimal torque and efficiency while being quiet to give a much more pleasant user experience.
The interchangeable blade system allows for both aeration and scarification of your lawn; provided with the machine is a 24 spring tine cartridge for raking moss and thatch from the lawn, and an 18 bladed aeration cylinder to help relieve soil impaction and improve growth.
SCARIFYING.
Scarifying is a process perhaps best described as a mechanical raking of the lawn, its primary purpose is to remove thatch and moss although it has associated benefits as well. The Cobra scarifying drum has a series of sharp tines that rotate at high speed and cut into the turf in a vertical manner.
AERATING.
The main reason for aerating is to alleviate soil compaction. Compacted soils have too many solid particles in a certain volume or space, which prevents proper circulation of air, water and nutrients within the soil. The COBRA SA40E scarifier is the perfect machine for breaking down compacted soil and producing a healthier, more vibrant lawn.
