The COBRA SA40E is a powerful electric scarifier, the 1800W motor and working width of 15" means it is fully equipped to gently remove any moss or thatch from your lawn. It is supplied with a scarifier drum and a bladed aerator which are very easy to swap between when needed thanks to the handy quick release handle.
SCARIFYING.
Scarifying is a process perhaps best described as a mechanical raking of the lawn, its primary purpose is to remove thatch and moss although it has associated benefits as well. The Cobra scarifying drum has a series of sharp tines that rotate at high speed and cut into the turf in a vertical manner.
AERATING.
The main reason for aerating is to alleviate soil compaction. Compacted soils have too many solid particles in a certain volume or space, which prevents proper circulation of air, water and nutrients within the soil. The COBRA SA40E scarifier is the perfect machine for breaking down compacted soil and producing a healthier, more vibrant lawn.
Featuring a high power 1800W motor that drives the 40cm working width at a working speed of 3900 - 4300rpm, the SA40E is ideal for the fast removal of unwanted moss, thatch, weeds and other debris; using the SA40E just once a month will improve water, feed and oxygen penetration that results in better quality, stronger roots and and more room for your grass to grow
The COBRA SA40E electric scarifier has been designed to make raking your garden a simple and effortless task. The ergonomically positioned controls not only make operator use more comfortable, but more importantly, make using Cobra lawn scarifiers as safe as possible, it really will bring an end to hours of raking, forking and scraping, giving yourself a lawn to be proud of year after year. The working depth has four settings to choose between +8mm and -12mm and is very easy to select with the wheel/knob on the body top.
