This Cobra MX460SPH petrol 3-in-1 lawnmower features all of the same features as the C version, but instead of the Cobra engine, this is fitted with a 145cc GCVX145 Honda engine. Honda have long been the experts in small engines and this GCVX145 is no exception, it offers the user a powerful yet lightweight engine which is quiet and produces low emissions. The power and torque supplied make this easily able to cope with medium-to-large domestic gardens.
The MX460SPH offers more choice when it comes to dealing with the grass cuttings.
It comes equipped with a mulch plug to enable you to mulch your grass clippings back into the lawn, mulching lawnmowers recycle the grass by finely cutting and re-cutting the clippings; as the clippings decompose, nutrients and fertilisers are returned to the soil meaning you can cut the grass and fertilise at the same time.
If you don't want to collect the grass cuttings or your lawn has become overgrown, the MX460SPH also comes equipped with a side discharge function; simply lift the side blanking plate and insert the side discharge chute allowing the grass to be discharged in neat lines to the side of where you are mowing.
If you are collecting then the large 65 litre grassbag has you covered; it is made from a strong, high quality fabric which enables a strong free-flow of air adding to the grass collecting capabilities.
Cutting can be done at one of the 6 available pre-set heights, ranging from 25mm for a superb, low finish, right up to 75mm which is ideal when faced with longer grass. The adjustment is very easy to make, simply use the lever positioned at the side of the machine to choose the height best-suited to your lawn. This model also benefits from a cast aluminium deck giving it a much longer working life; the easy clean wash system will also make cleaning off grass from the underside a breeze, simply connect a hose with the blades in motion and grass will be quickly and easily removed for you.
The self-propelled system is driven by a robust and reliable system giving a fixed speed of 3.6km/h. Slopes will even be easier to handle thanks to the system, and also the relatively low weight of this manoeuvrable mower, at only 32kg, let the mower take the strain our of cutting the lawn.
