The newest, next generation of Pro-X line trimmers offer greater versatility and choice, appealing to a wide range of professional users. Available in both a loop-handle and bike-handle option, they are suitable for landscapers, facilities operatives and municipal workers clearing larger areas of vegetation. The variable speed trigger is conveniently located on the handle and gives you full control, allowing you to adjust the speed as required. It also features a safety lock-off function for efficient, safer working and allows you to easily stay in control of battery life - using more power when needed for those tougher areas and less when working with finer, thinner vegetation.
The EGO BCX4500 is perfectly balanced for user comfort and less fatigue, it is light but strong thanks to the carbon fibre shaft that gives greater strength and stability whilst reducing overall weight, this newer model is over 1.5kgs lighter then the BCX3800. It is supplied with an AP1500D double shoulder harness for comfortable, all-day wear and the adjustable harness points on the body of the machine allow for greater adjustability for a number of users.
It is a versatile tool and can be used with both a line trimmer head and a metal bladed brush cutter (*ABB1203 sold separately*) as well as the professional RTX2300 Rotocut blade (*sold separately*). The line trimmer head is supplied with 2.7mm line but is capable of holding line up to 3mm for when you are tackling more stubborn areas of overgrowth and the three-sided steel brushcutter blade has a 30cm cutting width allowing you to get closer to those denser, hard-to-reach areas.
All Pro-X models come with a full 3-year professional warranty or a 5-year domestic warranty and are compatible with the Power+ backpack and the Professional-X harness. Sold as a tool only, you can choose the battery to suit your working requirements, compatible with all batteries within the 56V range, the STX4500 is recommended with the 5Ah and up giving you a working time of 75 minutes up to 190 minutes.
