The EGO CSX5000 is the first in a new generation of rear-handle chainsaws, designed to meet the needs of professional users needing a ground saw to complete the toughest of jobs. The saw is designed to be well balanced, from the centralised battery position to the comfortable handle positions, it is easy to use when both felling and cross-cutting for extended periods of time.
The CSX5000 utilises full chisel chains making cutting fast and efficient, and with enough power to drive the 50cm chain at speeds of 30 m/s, this saw delivers power and speed comparable to established, petrol saws. It has been designed with the demanding professional user in mind and delivers a best-in-class combination of power, torque and chain speed and depending on which EGO battery you use, you can expect the number of cuts to range from 40 to 175.
