The NEW LM2236E-SP self-propelled lawnmower from EGO has a wider cutting width of 55cm making it the largest domestic mower available from EGO and perfect for handling larger gardens and wider grassed spaces. The larger deck is constructed from PC PBT super-composite making it extremely hard-wearing yet lightweight. It offers increased UV protection, heat protection and general weatherability as well as being very tough and durable with higher impact resistance even at lower temperatures.
The self-propelled system means slopes are no longer a gruelling task as the automatic variable cutting speed will ensure the optimal setting is selected to maximise battery run-time. The drive speed is adjustable via the easy to use controls on the handle and the clever system will also provide you with petrol-matching power at a speed to suit you and will allow you to cover larger spaces in a shorter amount of working time, freeing you up to do more.
The blade speed is customisable with two speeds to choose from as well as an ECO function, this gives you the ability to conserve battery life when working on easy areas or to increase blade speed when tackling longer or thicker areas. The Select Cut blades is a multi-blade system give a mulching and collecting option. The new deck design includes an integrated mulch plug which can be engaged or disengaged simply by operating the handle located on the side of the deck, this can also allow you to mulch 25% or collect 25%, it doesn't have to be and "either-or" decision. If neither of these options are suitable, simply attach the side discharge flap to blow the grass out of the rear of the machine and to the left-hand side. The LM2236E-SP is part of EGO's Professional range meaning that alongside the standard domestic warranty of 5 years, professional users will benefit from a full 2 year warranty giving increased peace of mind. This kit is supplied with a 10Ah battery which will allow you to cover up to 1650m² on one charge; when it comes to recharging, simply slot the battery into the included rapid charger and you will be ready to go again in around 70 minutes. Developed with you in mind, EGO's unique patented Arc Lithium™ 56V battery delivers the industry’s highest energy capacity in a portable handheld battery. The innovative shape increases the battery surface area and allows the battery cells to be closer to the surface, maximising cooling. The EGO range of batteries also have one of the quickest recharge times meaning downtime is minimised and they can be used in any of the EGO products.
As with all EGO mowers within the range, the handles are telescopic, foldable and the mower can be stored upright to save space when stored in the shed or garage. The mower is also rated at IPX4 so can be used in light rain if the need should arise.
