The first Professional-X multi-tool head provides all-day working for the demanding, professional user; the motor and the PCB have both been upgraded to ensure longevity and robustness making it suitable for the toughest gardening tasks. This is the latest edition to the new generation of professional-X tools with built-in BLE connectivity, allowing the user to monitor firmware status, battery capacity and ruin-times on all tools.
The lightweight, high-efficiency, 1600W brushless motor delivers the power you would expect from a petrol tool without all the fuss, fumes, noise and vibrations. It gives comparable power to that of a 35cc petrol motor bringing heavy-duty performance to the EGO multi-tool system, it can also be used with all attachments and all batteries across the entire range.
The 2.0mm thick carbon shaft reduces weight while increasing durability, the adjustable loop handle makes it very comfortable to use even for longer periods and the coupling mechanism makes swapping between attachments quick and easy. The power unit is equipped with 3 pre-set speeds as well as having a variable trigger allowing the user to tailor the speed to the job at hand and as it is rated to IPX5, it can be used in inclement weather, perfect for the changeable weather we experience in the UK!
The new PHX1600 is compatible with the full EGO range of batteries and chargers so you are able to chose the right one for your requirements, and it is also compatible with the full range of multi-tool attachments including the EP7501 extension pole for when a little more reach is required.
