After the successful launch of the first EGO Zero-Turn back in 2022, EGO have now added to the range with a larger 132cm cutting deck complete with an additional cutting blade. This larger machine has a robust fabricated cutting deck and larger wheels to support the additional weight and to improve grip. 

Utilising the power of up to 6 EGO batteries, the runtimes are customisable to suit the size of your lawn and how you prefer to cut your grass - collect, mulch or side-discharge. The power will remain the same whatever combination of batteries you use - the equivalent power of a 22 horsepower petrol engine - and as a guide, with six 12Ah batteries, you will be able to cover up to 2.5 acres. The four brushless motors help to deliver the impressive performance to rival a petrol-powered ride-on with none of the fumes, much less noise and vibration with the added benefit of none of the hassle of having to refuel. 

Supplied with the industries fastest charger, it will fully charger 6, 10Ah batteries in just three hours! That is 4 times faster than any of the competition and you do not need to remove the batteries from the mower to charge; simply plug it directly into the mower and it will charge the batteries at the same time. Intelligent power management means that the CHV1600E will locate and charge the battery with the lowest charge first bringing all batteries up to the same level before charging all together until full.

Choose between three driving modes - standard mode which you can use for everyday tasks, control which will protect your turf and is perfect for new zero-turn users, or sport which is great for precision cuts around sharp turns; once you are happy with your speed simply lock in your chosen setting with the handy cruise control function. As well as travel speed, you can also control the speed of the blades, this function is great for conserving battery power when cutting shorter grass, or for dialling up the power when tackling longer, thicker or wet grass. There are 10 cutting height settings which range between 25mm-100mm and are very easy to select thanks to the lever located just to the right of the seat. 

The comfortable seat provides a wide range of adjustment to suit any user; the armrests fold up and down as required, the seat can be moved forwards and backwards and it is equipped with adjustable air-suspension adding greatly to the ride comfort. The digital control panel with its bright, LCD screen displays a range of information for you - the charge remaining in the batteries, the blade speed and the current driving mode, you are also able to control all of these functions at the press of a button.

It also has Bluetooth connectivity so you can enable a remote key from your mobile, take full control of your mowing experience, monitor your battery and download firmware updates to receive the latest features as well as a handy USB port to charge your mobile on the go.
