The Velocity flail mowers have the ability to reclaim any overgrown area thanks to the pivoting flail deck with 38 Y-shaped blades to cut and mulch grass, weeds, brush and more.
There are two models to choose from - a rear-wheel drive version powered by a Weibang XC400H petrol engine and this tracked version which features a hybrid E-Drive system. This innovative system combines a petrol engine which powers both the cutting unit and a generator which in turn powers dual electric wheel motors independently for zero-turn ability and uncompromising performance no matter the conditions.
Included features:
- 68cm Wide Pivoting Cutting with Commercial Flail Blades. The wide 68cm flail mower deck has a maximum working angle of 25° and comes complete with a deck level indicator clearly visible from the operators working position. Another helpful feature of the deck is the integrated maintenance stand which will support the deck in an upright position to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance. The flail rotor features commercial grade bearings and is fitted with 38 specially designed Y-shaped blades for high cutting productivity in any conditions.
- Independently Powered Rear Tracks. The 68 TFP features rear tracks for unrivalled grip and propulsion over any terrain; each track is driven by an independent electric wheel motor giving greater efficiency as well as zero-turn performance. As part of the hybrid power unit, the XC400H engine drives both the cutting unit and an internal generator which in turn powers the motors.
- Walk, Stand or Operate Remotely. The Velocity 68 TFP offers unrivalled versatility with the ability to be used three different ways; use the machine as a traditional walk-behind flail mower, use as a stand-on mower thanks to the foldaway platform (ideal for use when tackling tougher terrain. The third mode gives the option for it to be operated via an optional remote control kit allowing the machine to be controlled by the operator for use in areas which would not really allow someone to work on or behind it - ie, on steep banks.
- Customisable Height of Cut. The specially designed winding mechanism offers quick and easy adjustment to the height of cut between 10 & 90mm. The winding screw allows for tailored adjustment rather than having to use pre-set increments, allowing for a greater range of finishes on different jobs.
- Fully Adjustable Handles. Both the 68 WFP and the 68 TFP benefit from fully adjustable handles both up and down as well as side to side. This means it can be adjusted to suit operators of differing heights as well as allowing them to stay clear of uncut material and cut along hedgerows easier.
- Locking Front Castor Wheels. The front castors offer exceptional manoeuvrability and when locked, they allow the flail mower to cut in straight lines.
