The new Husqvarna 405VE NERA is a NEw eRA of robotic lawn mower which can be installed without perimeter wire; it is packed full of innovative features and has been designed to give perfect results on lawns up to 900m² in size. The handy EdgeCut function will keep your lawn edges neat and minimises the time and effort you will need to spend on on trimming and tidying. The additional, dedicated rear EdgeCut disc cuts close to the body of the mower and will trim close to borders and walls keeping it neater and tidier
As with the other, V NERA robots, it is powered by AI Vision Technology and the built-in camera utilises advanced AI to detect and identify multiple objects on the lawn, reacting and adapting it's mowing accordingly, allowing it to go about looking after your lawn with minimal disruption and interaction from you. Thanks to the infrared light, the mower avoids obstacles and takes into consideration pets and wildlife ensuring full lawn coverage even at night. This AI technology combines with satellite navigation meaning that even in areas of the garden with weaker signal, full lawn coverage is still possible.
This robot has selectable mowing patterns enabling you to choose from a striped, checkerboard or a triangle pattern, you can also choose the irregular (standard) mowing pattern which instead of producing a pattern, will leave a carpet-like finish.
Thanks to the wire-free installation, the 405VE works on virtual boundaries which are easy to change and adapt allowing you to create temporary stay out zones or no-go areas which can change with the seasons. You can even create multiple work areas with different mowing schedules and patterns for different areas of the garden requiring different care and attention, all from the Connect app direct from your phone.
How it works.
Cellular or Wi-Fi internet coverage is required across the full lawn, if you do not have internet coverage, then you can purchase an RS1 or RS5 reference station (depending on the size of your lawn and the area to be covered) to allow for this. This allows for centimetre level accuracy thanks to correction data received, typically down to 5cm or less, and you can manage this all from the Automower® Connect app, straight from your smart phone. The app allows you to stay in full control of the mower even when you are away from home, it will give real-time alerts and information on status and schedules allowing you to make changes as required.
Other handy features of a Husqvarna robotic mower include:
- QUIET: Automowers are very quiet and can be used day or night without disturbance to you or your neighbours.
- LOW POWER CONSUMPTION & ZERO EMISSIONS: They are much more economical to run than a conventional mower and produce no emissions and fumes.
- AUTOMATIC CHARGING: When Automower® needs more power, it will automatically find its way back to the charging station and then resume mowing once recharged
- WEATHERPROOF: They are weatherproof and designed to live outdoors quite happily. They can mow in rain or shine! However, it is recommended that they be taken indoors over winter for servicing and winter storage.
- SAFETY: If Automower® is lifted off the ground or tips over, the cutting automatically shuts off. In addition, the blades are rotating far from the outer edge of the machine. If Automower® meets an obstacle it will stop and redirect itself without causing any damage.
- GEOFENCE SECURITY: If the mower is lifted or carried away a high-sounding alarm starts and can only be deactivated with the mower's unique PIN code. Set a predefined area which you can adapt and control and track via GPS.
- EASY CLEAN: The exterior can be quickly and easily washed off with a garden hose and the top cover is removeable for easy cleaning as needed.
- EASY TO KEEP UP-TO-DATE: Software updates can be carried out via the Automower® Connect app over the air, enabling new features and updates.
