The Husqvarna 410XE NERA is a new robotic lawn mower for lawns up to 1000m², it offers the option of installation with physical wire boundaries, or as a wire-free installation with the Husqvarna EPOS™ system. The new 410XE features an EdgeCut function which minimises the need to trim the edges of the lawn saving you both time and effort. This new function is made possible by a dedicated rear EdgeCut disc that can cut far closer than the main cutting disc, so close in fact, that only a minimum of grass is left uncut.
As a member of the premium X-line range, it features Automower® Connect with GPS theft tracking and GPS-assisted navigation to keep you in control where ever you are and X-line design with LED Headlights, front rubber bumper and special coloured wheel caps. The new NERA can be equipped with wireless technology using Husqvarna EPOS plug-in kit (available here) and when combined with the various smart features such as object avoidance, zone control, Geofence and smart home integration, it means that every aspect of mowing has been optimised enabling you more time to enjoy your garden.
It gives complete flexibility with its virtual boundaries which are enabled through satellite-based technology which gives a 2-3cm accuracy. It also means there is no risk of wire damage from animals or gardening activities and thanks to the integrated Zone Control feature, you can tailor the working area of the lawn to your needs, creating several different areas with different settings. This is all manageable via the Automower® Connect app which also allows you to monitor your robotic mower from anywhere in the world and even integrate it into your smart home.

Thanks to the free movement pattern of Husqvarna Automower® (the analogy is of a sheep grazing, head down, apparently moving randomly around the lawn) the lawn is perfectly cut, achieving a beautiful and carpet-like look. The razor-sharp blades cut the grass gently from all directions, helping it to grow strong. Moss growth is effectively prevented - an added bonus!
Husqvarna automowers use Husqvarna's patented guide wire system (*if being installed via the EPOS system, this does not apply*). This extra wire helps the mower to find its way back to the charging station quickly and efficiently, which will reduce searching times especially for complex gardens. A uniform cutting result throughout the lawn is possible because this mower can start mowing at two different remote locations along the patented guide wire. The larger the grass area, the more important this becomes.
It has a unique cutting system. Husqvarna Automower® cuts just a little, but frequently, returning all the micronized, mulched clippings back to the lawn as a nutrient and moisture rich natural fertiliser. This will ensure a beautiful and healthy lawn. It is equipped with sharp razor-like blades made of strong carbon steel mounted on a robust cutting disc system. This provides for efficient operation and extremely low energy consumption.
Robotic lawn mowing is all about reliability. During 25 years of development Husqvarna has refined its mower concept to achieve the highest level of reliability, quality and cutting result, with a minimum of owner intervention.
Other features include:
- QUIET: Automowers are very quiet and can be used day or night without disturbance to you or your neighbours. *Measured sound level = 59dB(A).
- LOW POWER: They have very low power consumption and as such are much more economical to run than a conventional mower. *Power consumption during cutting = 25W
- ZERO EMISSIONS: Robotic mowers have no direct emissions as they are entirely electrical.
- AUTOMATIC CHARGING: When Automower needs more power, it will automatically find its way back to the charging station. *Typical charging time = 90 minutes
- WEATHERPROOF: They are weatherproof and designed to live outdoors quite happily. They can mow in rain or shine! However, it is recommended that they be taken indoors over winter for servicing and winter storage.
- SAFETY: If Automower® is lifted off the ground or tips over, the cutting automatically shuts off. In addition, the blades are rotating far from the outer edge of the machine. If Automower® meets an obstacle it will stop and redirect itself without causing any damage.
- SECURITY: Theft protection by alarm/PIN code. Different levels of protection can be set. If the mower is lifted or carried away a high-sounding alarm starts and can only be deactivated with the mower's unique PIN code.
