The SOLO 425 Comfort backpack sprayer from the Comfort line features a piston pump that is intended for higher pressure and low-viscosity (thin) media. The tank has a 15 litre fill capacity, is attached to a sturdy standing frame and has integrated fill level marking. It is made from thick-walled, UV-resistant polyethylene.
The unit features a large filling aperture for ease of filling, emptying and cleaning the unit. A removable filling strainer is located in the filling aperture. On top of the container is a practical, folding carrying handle that enables the backpack sprayer to be carried easily when not in use. This contains two clamping retainers with 2 different diameters, capable of accommodating any plastic, brass or carbon wand from the SOLO accessories range, thereby protecting them and saving space.
The seals on the unit are made of a particularly robust FKM material (‘Viton’). The pressure range can be set using the adjustment knob on the air chamber to 4 levels.
The pump lever can be fitted to the left or right, is ergonomically shaped and can be adjusted to several different lengths and side positions, therefore allowing it to be positioned individually to suit the user. This makes achieving the required operating pressure easy and efficient.
All models in the Comfort range feature comfortably padded shoulder straps. The transparent braided hose is particularly sturdy and also kink-resistant, and allows a sufficiently large radius of action. A very robust manual valve with actuation lock guarantees fatigue-free working and can optionally be equipped with a pressure gauge.
Standard scope of delivery includes one plastic flat spray nozzle and one two-part hollow cone nozzle.

Delivery by carrier
For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode). However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.
PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you.
For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT
Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.
Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers.
Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems.
Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days. If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.
Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available.
Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse. Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.
