SGA 30 CORDLESS BACKPACK SPRAYER: IDEAL FOR USE AROUND THE GARDEN OR ALLOTMENT.
The SGA 30 is a new battery-powered sprayer which has been designed for use in a number of applications in the garden, around an allotment or even for applying pre-wash treatments to the car or patio. It can be used to treat plants, precisely distribute pesticides and fertilisers and apply cleaning liquids across a wide working area.
The SGA 30 is powered by STIHL's 10.8 V AS 2 battery and the battery-powered pump head will deliver consistent pressure making spraying tasks that much easier and quicker and thanks to the telescopic spray lance with adjustable nozzle you can adapt the sprayer to be used across a wide range of applications. The AS 2 may be small but it will deliver 1.5 to 2.5 bar of pressure and on a full charge, it will give you a run-time of up to 30 minutes which equates to around 10 or 12 full tanks. The tank itself will hold up to 5 litres of liquid and the funnel-shaped opening makes it incredibly easy to fill; the handy level indicator on the side of the transparent container means you wont overfill and can easily keep an eye on the level of liquid remaining during use.
Fitted with an intelligent built-in sleep mode, the battery will detect when the machine has been idle for a period or when the tank is empty to help save the remaining battery life, as well as this, a handy battery level indicator allows you to monitor battery life remaining.
While this is not a backpack sprayer, the convenient shoulder strap allows you to carry it while on the move or spraying a larger area, you can also safely place it down on level ground if working on one area such as a vegetable patch, when ready to move off again, simply use the soft-grip carrying handle for easy transportation. The lance holder will keep it safely stowed away during transport and storage and the battery and power switch are safely covered by a battery protection flap. This will keep it protected from both dust and debris as well as water and other liquid splashes giving the sprayer a certification of IPX4 meaning it is protected from water splashes on all sides.
