This NEW Professional-X loop handle line trimmer from EGO will give you the flexibility you need to complete even the most demanding jobs to a high standard. This light-weight offering allows for easier manoeuvrability, longer working times thanks to it's light weight and offers best in class power-to-weight ratio and is supplied with (and designed to be used with) 2.4mm line.
The new front mounted direct-drive motor is positioned at the cutting head which improves efficiency by delivering power directly without having to use a traditional drive shaft, this is what gives the STX4200 its incredible balance and improved run times. The powerful and efficient brushless motor really is ready for anything and with variable speed, you can control the power and battery life of the machine whilst tackling those harder, more stubborn areas of growth.
The EGO STX4200 is light but strong thanks to the carbon fibre drive shaft, it wont bend or lose shape over time helping to keep vibration levels to a minimum and giving the user greater comfort and the option to work for longer with less fatigue. The newly designed guard is smaller and more compact giving a greater view of the area being trimmed, especially when being used upside down to trim edges but still offers great protection from flying debris.
This loop handle model is quickly and easily adjusted without the need for toils and gives greater user comfort and a more balanced experience. The loop handle design is great for more control around obstacles and for trimming around lawn edges and flower beds. When more line is required it is quick and simple to add, the rapid reload, bump feed head has got you covered allowing to you keep working with minimal downtime.
This new tool makes up part of the Professional-X range and comes IoT-ready with a built-in Bluetooth module allowing you to connect it to the EGO Connect and fleet management app, this is ideal for professional teams with a large fleet of tools to manage. All Pro-X models come with a full 3-year professional warranty or a 5-year domestic warranty and are compatible with the Power+ backpack and the Professional-X harness.
