The 270LX PREMIUM brush cutter is the most powerful loop handled trimmer in the range. The Premium 27.2cc air-cooled engine deliver exceptional power-to-weight ratio, are well balanced and versatile delivering up to 60% more power than the previous engines while producing lower emissions. The feature a soft-start recoil system allowing you to start the engine effortlessly and an auto choke system featuring set positions for both cold and hot starting which will automatically return to the idle position when the throttle is activated.
This model offers a high-quality product for landowners and contractors at an affordable price; anti-vibration loop handle makes it comfortable to use over longer periods of time, the heavy-duty gearbox will ensure high performance levels with increased working life, even when used in the harshest conditions. The Premium range comes with an increased warranty period of 5 years (90 days when used professionally) giving you peace of mind for the entire ownership of the tool
The loop handle allows for precise trimming and is ideal for edging lawns, or tidying grass around obstacles, and the straight shaft design allows for increased reach, it is easy to manoeuvre allowing you to keep your lawn edges looking and neat and tidy with ease. The ergonomic throttle control and the padded handle grip make this trimmer comfortable to use and the anti-vibration system means that even those longer jobs, will result in less user fatigue.
The engine is very simple to start with a choke and a primer bulb, the auto bump-feed head from specialists Tecomec will supply additional trimming line from a quick tap on the ground; the bump head on this model is heavy-duty and features a metal bump-feed knob for added durability and a longer working life.
The 270LX is supplied with both a nylon trimmer head and a 3-toothed metal brush cutting blade, allowing you to use one trimmer for lighter lawn edging tasks as well as those more heavy-duty clearing tasks, simple swap between the two heads and you are good to go. It is also supplied with a single strap shoulder harness to help spread the weight and make use more comfortable.

Delivery by carrier
For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode). However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.
PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you.
For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT
Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.
Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers.
Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems.
Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days. If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.
Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available.
Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse. Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.

Delivery is direct from our store in Swanwick using our own vehicles. One of our sales staff will personally contact you and arrange a convenient time to deliver your purchase.
