This newly improved version of the top quality RM53SPH-PRO now features an upgraded rear roller system with new bearing assembly that prevents water ingress. This new setup not only extends the life of the roller but also ensures smoother operation and reduced maintenance. As with the previous model, it features the Honda GXV160 engine and a wide 21" cutting width making it ideal for professional users.
PRO ADDITIONS OVER THE RM53SPH MODEL:
- Front protection bar: The RM53SPH-PRO comes with a robust stainless steel front protection bar giving ongoing protection of the cutting deck, increasing the machines working life.
- Thicker gauge handlebars: The handlebars on this PRO model are thicker and stronger, they are built with reinforcing struts for extra strength and to improve longevity of the lower handlebars.
- Reinforced steel deck liner: Increasing the life of the deck by protecting and strengthening the underside of the mower, the RM53SPH-PRO is built to withstand prolonged use in the most demanding professional applications.
- Professional high-speed shaft driven gearbox: The high-speed, high-specification RM53SPH-PRO is shaft driven rather than the more traditional belt or chain drive meaning that it will easily cope with long periods of intensive use even in the most difficult conditions. This PRO gearbox has a 13% increase in travel speed compared to the regular self-propelled models.

A split-easy-to-turn without scuffing steel rear roller is shaft driven from the engine and as well as giving beautiful stripes also allows the mower to cut along and over lawn edges
Fan Assisted Grass Collection
Features a clever fan mounted above the blade which directs an air blast from above the cutter deck towards the exit chute and drastically improves grass collection and packing of the bag.
Blade Brake Clutch (BBC)
The BBC (also known by some as a Roto-Stop) allows you to engage or disengage the blade at any time independently of the forward drive of the machine. This allows you to drive the mower without the blade turning, this is very useful when driving over surfaces other than the lawn, to and from the shed or garage for example. Another distinct advantage is that the engine does not stop when you let go of the handle bar, only the blade stops for safety, so you can empty the grass box and return to your mowing without having to re-pull-start the engine.
