FSA 110 R CORDLESS BRUSHCUTTER: EXCELLENT MOWING PERFORMANCE, IDEAL FOR PROFESSIONAL MOWING WORK.
The NEW STIHL FSA 110 R is the first grass trimmer to be added to the NEW Rapid Click System. Swapping between heads is now as simple as pushing a button; quickly and easily swap between the NEW AutoCut or PolyCut heads to tackle the job at hand with less downtime and no tools required. It is supplied as standard with the NEW AutoCut 12-2 mowing head which has been designed exclusively for brushcutters with the STIHL Rapid Click System but it can easily be changed over to use the PolyCut 12-2 if required.
The 110 R has been designed for tackling both larger, more demanding domestic tasks as well as professional gardening and landscaping jobs. The powerful 36V motor makes it ideal for working in noise sensitive areas such as schools or hospitals or for those times when you may be starting a little earlier in the day and/or working a little later into the evening. Part of the AP system, it is compatible with any of the batteries in the range (running times will vary depending on which battery is used, please see below for a comparison) if longer run-times are required, it can also be used with an adaptor and one of the STIHL AR backpack batteries.
The ergonomic control handle has speed adjustment allowing you to choose from to speed settings depending on the tasks being carried out; ECO mode (level 1) is great for simple tasks such as lawn trimming while full-power (level 2) gives more power for tackling longer or thicker grass. This R version of the FSA 110 R has a loop handle which is excellent for areas with less room to manoeuvre; the user is able to navigate obstacles with ease and can easily guide the machine with minimal effort. It is supplied with a single shoulder harness and is also IPX 4 rated meaning it can be safely used in the rain - great for use in our unpredictable British weather!
The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact; it runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing making it the ideal choice for noise-sensitive areas. The lack of fumes which you would get from petrol equivalents also makes this an attractive choice, especially for professional users working with the tool for extended periods at a time. It also requires little-to-no maintenance as the easy-to-clean air filter ensures a long service life and optimum engine cooling.
Being part of the professional range, the FSA 110 R can also be integrated into the STIHL Connected system via the connection of a Smart Connector. This will then give real-time operational statistics and an overview of service history and running information via the Connected app.
