FSA 120 CORDLESS BRUSHCUTTER: EXCELLENT MOWING PERFORMANCE, IDEAL FOR PROFESSIONALS IN GARDENING AND LANDSCAPING.
The STIHL FSA 120 is a robust and powerful cordless brush cutter ideal for tackling the toughest gardening and landscaping jobs in noise sensitive settings. It is recommended for use with the AP 300 S battery but is compatible with all AP System batteries and if longer run-times are required, it can be used with and adaptor and one of the STIHL AR backpack batteries.
Fitted with an AutoCut 27-2 mowing head as standard, it is ideally suited to tackling grass and scrub over larger areas. The ergonomic control handle has speed adjustment allowing you to choose from to speed settings depending on the tasks being carried out. ECO mode (level 1) is great for simple tasks such as lawn trimming while full-power (level 2) gives more power for tackling longer or thicker grass.
The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact; it runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing making it the ideal choice for noise-sensitive areas. The lack of fumes which you would get from petrol equivalents also makes this an attractive choice, especially for professional users working with the tool for extended periods at a time. It also requires little-to-no maintenance as the easy-to-clean air filter ensures a long service life and optimum engine cooling.
The FSA 120 has a robust bike handle which is excellent for covering larger areas quickly and with less user fatigue; when used in conjunction with a harness, the user is able to achieve a smooth mowing action and can easily guide the machine with minimal effort. It is supplied with a single shoulder harness and is also IPX 4 rated meaning it can be safely used in the rain - great for use in our unpredictable British weather!
