FOR A LIMITED TIME - GET A SECOND AS 2 BATTERY FOC WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE FSA 30 KIT.
The STIHL FSA 30 battery-powered grass trimmer is extremely light (weighing only 2.3kg with battery fitted) and well balanced making it ideal for small mowing jobs in home gardens such as maintaining lawn edges, clearing around trees, under shrubs or around various obstacles which you cannot get to with the lawn mower. It is part of the AS System range of tools and as such is powered by a 10.8V lithium-ion battery compatible with HSA 30 hedge trimmer and the HSA 26 shrub shears.
It is easy to start with a comfortable trigger and rocker switch located on a soft grip handle, and when in use it is easy to adjust the length of the shaft to suit different heights, and the angle of the handle to allow for different cutting positions. The mowing head can be adjusted head can be positioned to one of four different settings allowing for easy cutting along pathways or flower beds, and when cutting around shrubs or trees, there is a spacer bracket to allow for a safety zone between the blades and the surrounding area.
The small yet powerful battery will fully charge in 70 minutes and will give you up to 14 minutes run-time when using the supplied PolyCut 3-2 blades; these robust polymer blades can be changed quickly and easily without the need for tools. If you prefer to use trimming line, you are able to do this by using pre-cut lengths of line or by switching to the AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head which will give a run-time of up to 10 minutes from a full charge. The handy charge indicator panel on the side of the trimmer allows you to check the status of the battery during use simply by pressing the button.
- With practical storage for spare cutting blades on the underside of the tool.
- Hanging eyelet for space-saving storage in sheds and garages.
- Equipped with flexible handles and variable shaft length, the perfectly balanced FSA 30 can be ideally adapted to your specific way of working.
