The long reach 28LH-a SELECT hedge trimmer is ideal for smaller, lighter duty tasks around the domestic garden, with a host of user-friendly features such as an easy-to-start engine, ergonomic controls and a single strap harness, it will make light work of those taller, harder to reach hedges. A heavy-duty gearbox with heat treated gears ensures high performance and durability and the full-crank 2-stroke engine gives higher performance and a longer service life.
The loop handle and the padded front handle allow for multiple grip positions for working at various heights and angles, while reducing vibrations from the engine making working for those longer periods of time much more comfortable and less tiring. Adding to user comfort, the blades are fully adjustable articulating through 180° of range with 11 different working positions to choose from, this allows for easier trimming of both tops and sides of hedges.
The blades have a cutting length of 580mm and are double-sided and double-reciprocating making cutting easier and cleaner, not only does this help the user, it will help to keep the hedges in good health. The overall length of the trimmer is 2445mm eliminating the need for a ladder with most domestic hedges making the job of keeping your garden neat and tidy, that much easier and safer.
You are able to split the shaft in two which makes both storing and transporting much easier and the head will fold flat against the shaft making it safer.
This machine benefits from a 3 year domestic warranty (90 days when used commercially) giving you peace of mind with your new purchase.

Delivery by carrier
For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode). However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.
PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you.
For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT
Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.
Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers.
Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems.
Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days. If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.
Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available.
Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse. Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.

Delivery is direct from our store in Swanwick using our own vehicles. One of our sales staff will personally contact you and arrange a convenient time to deliver your purchase.
