ASA 20 CORDLESS SECATEURS: FOR EASY PRUNING OF TREES, SHRUBS AND PLANTS.
The STIHL ASA 20 battery-powered secateurs have been designed to make those pruning jobs around the garden effortless; whether you are working with trees, bushes or shrubs or fruit trees and vineyards - let these handy secateurs help take some of the strain. The blades have two different opening widths allowing you to either complete smaller pruning tasks quickly and with maximum battery efficiency, or if you are tackling larger stems and branches, you can open the blades wider by simply pressing and holding the trigger button down for 3 seconds. This operating feature is detailed above the battery bay as a handy reminder just in case you forget.
Part of the AS System range of tools, they are powered by STIHL's 10.8V AS 2 battery which is also found in other handy tools such as the HSA 26 shrub shears, the BGA 30 blower or the FSA 30 strimmer - to name but a few. Available as this option which is a set complete with an AS 2 battery and AL 1 charger, or as the tool only for those who already have batteries and chargers HERE.
This tool may be small, but it is also powerful - weighing just 0.8kg (without battery) it is comfortable to use over long periods and with the battery in place, it is perfectly balanced making it easy to use. The lithium-ion battery will provide you with enough power to make up to 2000 cuts on a full charge, happily tackling material up to 25mm in diameter. Thanks to the fast closing speed of the blades, it will help you to complete pruning jobs quickly and more efficiently and the progressive cut which will follow your finger movement on the trigger, allows you to remain in control giving precise, clean cuts each time.
A blade guard is included to prevent damage to the blades during transport and storage and a handy integrated maintenance tool is located in the battery bay allowing you to carry out simple maintenance tasks and adjust or remove the blade set to clean or replace.
