Viano MO Bacter is an organic-based, long-lasting granular fertiliser which will feed your lawn for up to 100 days.
It is the ideal treatment for moss and thatch in lawns thanks to its high potash content which will cause the moss to die by indirect action. Once it has died, millions of active and safe bacteria will digest the dead organic matter and turn it into beneficial food for the lawn - no need to rake it out, it will simply decompose back into the grass where it will feed and nourish the grass.

Thanks to it's organic composition, even if there is no rainfall, it will not scorch the lawn. IF there is no natural rainfall, within 7 days of putting it down, it is recommended to water to activate the product. After 14 - 21 days, the moss will then start to turn brown and die before dropping down to thatch level where it is digested by the bacteria.
How To Apply.
- MO Bacter can be applied as soon as the weather starts to warm up but it will be most effective and will give the best results at 12 degrees and above, it is also recommended to be used once the grass has had its first cut of the season. Cut the grass shorter than you normally would, ensure the grass is dry but that the soil is moist (where possible) and apply either with a lawn spreader or evenly by hand at a rate of 100 - 150 grams per square metre. (*it is always recommended to wear gloves when handling.)
*MO Bacter is both child and pet friendly but it may contain cacao shells which are harmful to dogs and cats if consumed in larger quantities. It is recommended to keep pets away during application and to always keep the bag out of reach when stored.

Delivery by carrier
For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode). However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.
PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you.
For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT
Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.
We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.
Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers.
Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems.
Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days. If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.
Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available.
Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse. Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.
