The STIHL KMA 120 R is a powerful cordless KombiMotor designed for professional use across a variety of tough gardening, landscaping and maintenance tasks. The powerful, brushless EC motor delivers outstanding performance without the noise, fumes and vibrations of petrol powered units making the KMA 120 R ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas and for prolonged periods of time. The 36V AP batteries provide ample power and runtimes making this tool powerful enough to tackle a number of tasks, with runtimes varying from 15 minutes all the way up to 1290 minutes, there is a battery to suit many different gardening tasks from pruning to clearing. The KombiMotor is compatible with all STIHL KombiTools (except the FSB-KM) meaning that with this one unit, you are able to drastically cut the number of tools you need in your working arsenal.
The ergonomically designed loop handle has a quick-mounting system so that you are able to adjust the handle to your height and working position for ultimate comfort. This handle also makes the unit much more manoeuvrable and easier to manage around obstacles or on uneven terrain and the safety bar will also protect your legs and feet by making sure they do not get too close to the blades or mowing head during work. The quick-release coupling with clamping screw makes changing between attachments very easy, allowing you to do so without the need for tools and the detachable shaft ensures that transporting and storing the unit is also very convenient.
With two stages of speed control to choose from, it is easy to stay on top of power consumption and battery management; ECO mode (level 1) is ideal for simple tasks such as lawn edging while full speed (level 2) is suited to tasks which require a bit more power such as clearing leaves. The speed adjustment is infinitely adjustable giving you greater control all the time you are using the unit.
