The Rider R 7-65.8 HD Rider is the ideal mower for cutting grass in medium or winding gardens and those with narrow passages to navigate, this mostly thanks to it's narrow cutting width of 62cm and a turning radius of only 93cm. The ergonomic controls, geared steering and, of course, the step-less transmission lift this rider to a higher level over the entry level R7 63.8 A. These features in conjunction and with an upgrade on the engine to the Briggs & Stratton 950 E mean it can reach speeds of up to 6.2 km/h in forward travel and 3.8 km/h in reverse giving you a great combination of manoeuvrability and power.
Near-edge mowing is made possible by a staggered mowing deck allowing you to keep more of your lawn neat and tidy without the need for trimming. The cutting height can be adjusted in 4 steps from 25mm to 75mm giving you full control over the finish of your grass and the large grass collector box can be emptied quickly and easily using the telescopic lever. It also comes with a handy alarm to let you know when the box is full, no more guessing.
No having to change gears manually thanks to the smooth, step-less hydrostatic drive; this is infinitely variable and is controlled by an ergonomically positioned foot pedal keeping you fully in control of speed at all times. Thanks to the patented activation system from AL-KO, reverse mowing is also possible on this rider.
