The higher specification Tornado 598e side-discharge garden tractor will mow larger areas quickly and efficiently without the need to stop and empty the grass collector. This model has the more powerful 48V 40Ah premium brand (Li-Ion) battery that has been developed and tested by STIGA. It can cover up to 4000sqm or approximately 1hr 20 minutes on just one charge!

The Tornado 598e model also features a bluetooth connectivity module which means your lawn tractor can easily connect to the STIGA App on your phone The app can both work as a dashboard and give you at-a-glance information on your mowing session. It also features readouts on previous sessions, CO2 saved, maintenance activities and smart charge function.

Through the app you can also contact your local dealer directly, for quicker assistance. To increase runtime, an eco mode reduces blade rotations in light cutting conditions. And for an easy ride even in poor light, the S500's LED headlights illuminate all in your path.

Thanks to its broad 98cm cutting width, adjustable in 7 heights between 25 to 80mm, the Tornado 598e will tackle your lawn rapidly.

Side discharging the grass is ideal if you are cutting grass areas less regularly where the grass might be a little longer, or if you are cutting an area where collecting or mulching simply isn't important, for example a field, an orchard or a roadside verge.

Mulching the grass with your Stiga Tornado 598e chops up the clippings very finely and distributes them evenly back onto the lawn as a nutrient and moisture rich lawn feed. If you keep your mower deck clean, blades sharp and cut regularly if the grass is growing vigorously, you won't even see the mulched clippings as they are so finely chopped and break down in a matter of hours. Your lawn will look healthier in no time!

Delivery by carrier

For most purchases of £120 inc VAT and over, we offer FREE delivery via carrier to UK mainland except for the Highlands and islands (priced separately by postcode). However, we only deliver ride-on mowers locally and use our own vehicles to do this, see below.

PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to offer delivery to Northern Ireland for many of our machines and accessories; we may have to cancel and refund your order if we are unable to complete this for you.

For purchases of less than £120 inc VAT, there is a small charge of £6 inc VAT

Aspen fuel deliveries will incur an £18 inc VAT delivery surcharge.

Westermann brush deliveries will incur a £36 inc VAT delivery surcharge.

We will contact you if any other charge might apply based on location or product.

Our delivery service is operated by contracted carriers.

Larger boxed items would normally be delivered to you the next working day after shipping. This is a very reliable service and whilst most customers receive their goods the next working day it is not absolutely guaranteed as carriers can have logistical problems.

Smaller items that are shipped in packets for instance, will be posted and should arrive in 2-3 days. If you need these items sooner, please call us and we will endeavour to help where possible.

Please note that delivery can be anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need your delivery to be made in a specific time slot, please call us to discuss the options available.

Next working day delivery is subject to the goods being in stock at our warehouse. Please call us to check availability if it is an urgent order.
