The new ALLPRO AP 30.1 P is an entry-level 40V battery that sits within the ALLPRO/AP system range. It is ideal for lighter gardening and landscaping tasks and has been designed to offer both reliable performance end excellent value for money, this makes it a great choice if you need dependable power for those everyday tasks either professionally or in a domestic garden.
It produces 2.0Kw of peak power and 270Wh energy capacity while maintaining a low weight of only 1.8, where this battery is heavier than the smaller AP 20.1 P, it is more suited to use in a lawn mower and can be used on medium - large sized lawns. Unlike the larger ALLPRO batteries in the range, these smaller batteries are tabbed rather than tabless; they still have all the same clever technology such as intelligent battery management, cold start feature and IPX4 weather rating for use in inclement weather though, making them a more affordable option while still giving great performance.
Other handy features of the ALLPRO AP Range include:
- Cold start function - The battery cells are warmed up in a controlled way allowing them to safely deliver full power in as little as 2 minutes (at -10°C)
- Battery cooling - Air is directed through the battery housing to cool the battery and the cells have been connected in such a way to ensure efficient heat dissipation allowing excessive temperatures to be avoided.
- Constant power - The intelligent electronics contained within the battery deliver constant power no matter the charge remaining in the battery.
- Smart control - Information is continuously exchanged between battery, charger & tools allowing energy supply to be optimised at all times. This also ensures potential overheating or deep discharge/overcharging are also avoided protecting the battery in the best possible way.
- Very long-life battery cells - They have been designed for particularly high demands allowing them to cope with high power requirements and can be charged faster than the average battery and more often if required.
These batteries can be charged in any of the available AL chargers from STIHL including the new AL 1802 MO and act as a replacement for the AP battery range. They offer full compatibility with all existing tools while bringing with them a strong balance of performance, reliability and value for money.
