GH 460 PETROL CHIPPER / SHREDDER: PETROL CHIPPER/SHREDDER WITH TWIN-CHAMBER SYSTEM.
Powered by a Briggs & Stratton Series 850 EXi OHV RS engine, this powerful petrol chipper/shredder can easily handle a high working volume of thick branches up to 60mm in diameter, as well as softer garden material. The large rubber tyres and the wide chassis make it easy to transport around the garden making it a great choice for large plots of land with multiple work areas, or large gardens with no power supply.
Soundproofed feed chute - makes filling the shredder easy.
The large, angled feed chute makes it easier to fill your STIHL shredder. The in-built noise-insulation also reduces work noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated splash guard shields you from any swirled-up pieces of shredded material.
Pneumatic tyres and wide chassis.
The pneumatic tyres give better manoeuvrability and mobility of the GH 460 making it much easier to move around; the wide chassis gives this garden shredder more stability for safe operation, and a wider footing for more stability, it also helps makes it much easier to transport and move around the garden as required.
Sandwich blades & twin-chamber system.
The GH 460 has two individual feed openings, as a result, the garden shredder can shred both harder branch material and softer mixed cuttings in equal measure. Each feed chamber is equipped with special blades ideal for shredding each type of material. The special sandwich-type blade system shreds the material with minimal vibrations.
Integrated tool.
Carry out maintenance work such as changing the blades quickly and independently, the necessary tools for the task are stored in a handy compartment located on the machine housing.
Safety lock.
The electromagnetic safety lock prevents the garden shredder from starting automatically during maintenance operations or when the blade is being changed. The safety switch is integrated in the opening mechanism on the shredder. As soon as the closure screws on the machine are unscrewed, the safety switch is stripped and the current flow is interrupted.
