GTA 30 CORDLESS GARDEN PRUNER: CORDLESS GARDEN PRUNER FOR DEMANDING PRIVATE PRUNING TASKS.
The NEW STIHL GTA 30 is a cordless garden pruner in the AS system of tools, it is larger than the existing GTA 26 and is powered by two AS 2 Lithium-ion batteries delivering more power and longer runtimes. The bar is 5cm longer giving you a useable bar length of 15cm/6" allowing you to tackle larger garden jobs with ease; on a full charge, you will be able to make up to 180 cuts in 5x5cm timber.
The dual AS 2 batteries give you 21.6V which effortlessly combine to power the large 400W EC motor, these two batteries are discharged in parallel and thanks to the clever electronics inside, you will get constant power right from fully charged all the way down to totally flat. (*PLEASE NOTE* The GTA 30 cannot be used with only one battery, it has to be used with two AS 2 batteries).
Unlike the GTA 26, this model comes with a chain oil tank, which once filled, will provide automatic lubrication and cooling of the cutting bar and chain for up to 6 full charges of use; other handy features include....
- Low weight of just 2kg (with batteries) and ergonomically designed handle providing comfort and perfect balance.
- 4 LED charge indicator, this will display the amount of charge left in the lowest of the two batteries (ideally, STIHL recommend to use batteries with equal charge).
- Variable trigger providing the user with full control over each cut.
- No bar guard allowing you to complete plunge cuts, undercuts and overcuts with less damage to trees from ripping of bark.
- IPX4 rating allowing it to be used in inclement weather (tool has been rated as splashproof from all directions).

This kit comes complete with TWO AS 2 batteries*, an AL 5-2 high-speed charger all of which is supplied in a handy hardcase to conveniently carry and store all components.
*Please note, the AS 2 battery works exclusively with products in the AS range only and is therefore not compatible with the HSA 25.
