STIHL HTA 86: POWERFUL, TELESCOPIC CORDLESS POLE PRUNER WITH 30cm/12" BAR LENGTH.
The STIHL HTA 86 is a powerful, cordless pole pruner designed to handle grounds, garden and orchard maintenance and stand up to use by local authorities. It is fitted as standard with a 1/4" PM3 saw chain for low vibrations and a clean, precise cut. The side-mounted chain tensioner with captive nut on the sprocket cover allows for quick an easy adjustments on the go.
The lightweight power head gives improved manoeuvrability and thanks to the battery's optimal centre of gravity, the HTA 66 has a low tilting torque which supports fatigue-free working. This clever design coupled with the efficient and quiet EC engine, provides the user with quiet, fume free working with less vibrations and also less maintenance required. It is easy to start by simply releasing the locking switch and then using the trigger, and the additional ERGO lever enables continuous work without having to restart. The self-resetting locking switch prevents accidental activation of the tool making it safe and easy to use, for both left and right-handed users.
This telescopic version (please see the HTA 66 for fixed pole version) is extendable from 270cm up to 390cm whilst remaining at a useable weight of only 4.6kg and the sturdy built-in branch hook makes the removal of cut and loose branches, or branches damaged by storms, much easier when working at height.
Recommend for use with the AP 200 battery (*sold separately*), you will get a working time of up to 42 minutes before you have to re-charge.
