SGA 85 CORDLESS BACKPACK SPRAYER: FOR USE IN HORTICULTURE, AGRICULTURE & VITICULTURE.
The SGA 85 is STIHL's first backpack cordless sprayer and is part of the AP System family of tools; it has been designed for use in gardens, orchards and vineyards by both professional and domestic users. It has a high operating pressure level and large volume flow allowing you to cover a wide range of spraying applications and with no exhaust fumes, you can comfortably use it in greenhouses and indoor applications.
The powerful battery-operated pumps delivers excellent spraying performance with adjustable pressure from 1 to 6 bar, this makes it ideal for applying herbicides, pesticides and fungicides. Moving from different tasks and different requirements is quick and easy, you can adjust the pump pressure by simply adjusting the dial conveniently located on the side of the sprayer. You do not even have to remove the backpack to do this as it is simple to reach and the handy pressure gauge on the lance instantly shows your current operating pressure.
There is a large filler opening with a strainer to stop large particles from entering the tank, there is then a smaller filter located in the tank to prevent smaller contaminants from getting into the pump, this helps deliver reliable operation and constant power delivery. The large tank will hold 17 litres of liquid and the supplied cone nozzle, is capable of delivering 1.7 litres of liquid each minute. Compared to a traditional manual sprayer, the battery-operated SGA 85 makes spraying tasks much more manageable; it will maintain consistent and accurate pressure throughout the spraying process. With a wide range of nozzles, spray bars and other accessories, this sprayer can be used over a wide range of applications.
The wide, padded shoulder straps and back pads plus a handy chest strap make it comfortable to wear over long periods of use; the handy carrying handle located on top of the straps also make it easy to transport around the working area. The lance holder will keep it safely stowed away during transport and storage and the battery and power switch are safely covered by a battery protection flap. This will keep it protected from both dust and debris as well as water and other liquid splashes giving the sprayer a certification of IPX4 meaning it is protected from water splashes on all sides.
**PLEASE NOTE** While other tools in the AP range are supplied as a kit form as well as tool only, the SGA 85 is ONLY available as a stand alone tool. The range of AP batteries will give different run times based on size, as an example, the AP 200 S will give a runtime of up to 1000 minutes.
