SHA 56 CORDLESS VACUUM SHREDDER: THE QUIET ALL-ROUNDER FOR VACUUM SHREDDING AND BLOWING WORK.
The SHA 56 is the first cordless vacuum shredder/leaf blower from STIHL; part of the AK battery system, this practical 2-in-1 machine is designed for either vacuuming & shredding leaves and hedge cuttings or for blowing them into piles for collection by hand. The rotatable handle has outstanding ergonomics in either mode and will give greater comfort and control when in use; you can easily switch between the two modes without the need for tools, simply by clicking the tubes into place.
The handle will twist 180 degrees to fit comfortably in your hand; the easy to use, variable speed trigger is used to control both suction and blowing force and the specially angled handle makes it even more comfortable when in vacuum/shredder mode. When in vacuum mode, the catcher bag connects to the vacuum tube rather than over the shoulder which adds to to user comfort; the metal shredder blade located on the fan wheel reduces the volume of the collected debris meaning you can collect more and work for longer before having to empty the 40 litre collection bag. If there are any blockages, the opening for the blade is easy to access so they can be cleared quickly.
The SHA 56 can be used with any of the batteries in the AK range giving variable working times:
AK 20 battery* = up to 25 minutes working time which gives up to 75m2 in suction mode or 600m2 in blowing mode *(Recommended battery)
AK 30 battery = up to 30 minutes working time which gives up to 90m2 in suction mode or 700m2 in blowing mode
