Cub Cadet XT2 PS117 Side-discharge 3-in1 lawn tractor

The XT Enduro series of lawn tractors are packed full of innovative features and useful technology, making them the best lawn tractors Cub Cadet have ever designed and built. They have been designed with the expert gardener in mind, from the market-leading turning circle, to the 3-in-1 cutting option or the ultra-sturdy corrosion resistant frame, they really have been well thought out with longevity and useability in mind.

The XT2 range offers an even higher level of power, additional control functions and increased durability, on top of this, they are also the most agile in the XT series with a turning circle of just 17cm! This makes them ideally suited for working on tough terrain and in confined spaces or on lawns and grassed areas with multiple obstacles to navigate. The XT2's have also had an engine upgrade, this model is fitted with Cub Cadet's own powerful, V-Twin providing increased power, with ultra-smooth power delivery between the engine and the transmission all the while providing lower fuel consumption.

Handy features on each of the XT2 models within the range include:

• Market leading 3-in-1 cutting system. You can choose between, rear discharge or collecting and with option to purchase a mulch kit, you can also distribute the fine clippings back onto your lawn where they will act as a natural fertiliser.
• Tight Turn steering technology. This innovative steering technology allows the XT range of lawn tractors to have some of the best on the market, the XT2 range has a turning radius of just 17cm!
• Push button blade start. Quickly and easily activate the cutting blades by pushing a button.
• RevTEK Technology. This system allows you to continue cutting even when in reverse, as a safety precaution, it has be activated manually keeping you fully in control at all times.
• LED headlights. Bright LED headlights great for working further into the evening and in lower light level conditions.
• Corrosion-resistant frame. The Ultra-rigid, long lasting frame with corrosion defence system for long lasting protection and added durability.
• Hydrostatic transmission. This modern offering features a self-lubricating hydro pump for minimal maintenance yet maximum durability and it also stands out for its velocity control as well as continual forward and reverse speeds. No clutching or shifting required which allows you to drive more gently and with greater accuracy.
• Diagonally adjustable seat. The comfortable ergonomically designed seat can be adjusted to suit the needs of a range of users, the spring suspension also make this an incredibly comfortable place to be, even for those extended cutting times.
• Deck wash nozzle. Easy of cleaning when you have finished, simply connect a hose to the wash port and engage blades to clear the underside of the deck of grass clippings and other debris.

The XT2 PS117 has a wider cutting width of 117cm and has a twin-bladed design for maximum efficiency and superior cut quality. The blades contra-rotate and work together to quickly and effectively shoot the grass clippings out of the side eject chute and neatly away from the tractor and if you would like to turn this side-eject model to a collector, you are able to purchase the rear bagger and high-lift blades as separate accessories giving you the best of both worlds. 

This model is ideally suited to those with larger lawns or even small paddocks to maintain and has been designed to easily cut over two acres; thanks to the large fuel tank which is capable of holding up to 11.4 litres, you will be able to work for longer with less downtime. It has also been designed with comfort in mind and makes mowing for longer even easier, the high backrest on the ultra-comfortable spring-loaded seat means you can cut your grass with less fatigue. 

The cutting height can be adjusted through a range of 25 - 100mm in length and from 12 positions to choose from, there will be a height for all of your cutting needs.  The unique anti-clog system will also ensure a smooth cutting experience, it has been designed to transport the grass clippings into the grass bag in the most efficient and effective way.
