The HT6500E is great at handling those larger hedges which may have thicker branches and stems; the 65cm blade length and 33mm blade gap chews up thick stems and branches and will give a clean. precise cut each and every time. The dual speed selector lets you choose the right speed for every task ahead meaning you can stay on top of battery usage and get the most out of each and every charge. The rotating handle offers the user even greater flexibility when it comes to cutting as it can be rotated 45° & 90° left and right allowing you to adjust the tool to suit your preferred cutting stance whether you are cutting horizontally or vertically.
The blade tip protector prevents any damage not only to the blades, but to walls or fences if accidental contact is made, there is a safety blade guard which helps to prevent user injuries and also an electric blade brake which will stop the blades from moving as soon as the trigger is released.
This model is compatible with the BH1001 backpack harness as well as all handheld batteries across the EGO range meaning you can experience runtimes from 33 minutes (2.5Ah battery) right up to 170 minutes (12Ah battery).
