The HSA 100 is a powerful, professional cordless hedge trimmer, ideal for demanding jobs in noise sensitive areas such as nurseries, landscape maintenance and groundskeeping operations. It is powered by a powerful 36V Lithium-Ion battery which is part of the AP range of power tools. It gives you all the power of a petrol tool meaning you can tackle jobs such as hedge maintenance and trimming and pruning thin branches to thick shoots, without the noise, fumes and vibrations.
With long-lasting sharpness, the precision-ground, double-sided cutting blades provide a precise cut when trimming hedges and can be used both horizontally and vertically; the 34mm tooth spacing allows for excellent cutting performance and mean that thicker branches are much easier to cut.
It is highly ergonomic thanks to optimum balance and allows for user comfort and ease of use even over longer periods thanks to the anti-vibration system. There is a comfortable multi-function handle that rotates into three positions left and right across 180 degrees ensuring you have the best cutting position available at all times, and the two handed design ensures safety and control with its activation by pressing the two switches on the loop handle and rear handle and variable cutting speed controlled by the rear switch.
The battery can be inserted into the tool in 2 stages, allowing for safe transport. In the first position, the battery is secured but does not connect with the contacts, and then in the second operating position, the battery is completely inserted allowing for full operation of the tool.
A blade tip protector comes fitted as standard, which makes cutting near the ground or along walls easier, whilst helping to protect the blades from damage. The cutting blades on the HSA 50 are double-sided, which cut both vertically and horizontally.
Recommended for use with the AP 200 battery which will give a working time of up to 150 minutes.
