HSA 150 T CORDLESS HEDGE TRIMMER: SINGLE-SIDED PROFESSIONAL TOOL FOR PRECISE TRIMMING TASKS.
The NEW HSA 150 T is an extremely powerful professional, single-sided hedge trimmer that has been designed to take on the toughest, most demanding trimming jobs; it is available in a 30" or 40" blade length to suit a range of trimming tasks and has been designed with professional landscapers in mind. This new improved model has a large 650W motor which gives a 30% increase in power when compared to the previous HSA 130 and is also comparable in performance to the HS 87 petrol hedge trimmer.
This trimming (T) version gives a higher blade speed and a constant stroke-rate even under load, and comes with 30mm tooth spacing which is best suited to ornamental or fine leaf hedges such as Privet, Buxus and Taxus where a neat and accurate finish is needed. The high RPM delivers a fine cut and doesn't allow too much fallen material to drop into the blades avoiding possible jams or blockages; this is also adjustable between 3 RPM levels allowing you to choose between 3'900, 4'500 or 5'000 RPM giving you full control to suit the topiary being trimmed.
These new models have been ergonomically designed with user comfort in mind; when used with the recommended AP 200 S battery, the tool is perfectly balanced resulting in less operator fatigue which is great for those longer working days and the control handle is well positioned with all operator controls conveniently placed for ease of operation. The handle is also rotatable, simply pull the lever and twist the handle to reposition for either top or side cutting meaning you do not need to bend your wrist into an uncomfortable position when changing cutting angles; it is also for use by both left and right-handed users allowing for an ergonomically effective position in the hand.
Both versions of the HSA 140 also feature an anti-jamming function to help if the cutting blades get stuck on thicker branches; when you release the trigger and then pull again, the blades will move in the opposite direction helping to free up the jam and remove the tool. The newly designed gearbox works in perfect harmony with the powerful EC motor to deliver an extremely high cutting force and quick acceleration up to your chosen operating speed.
Being part of the STIHL professional range, it can be used with any of the batteries from the AP range, or the AR backpack battery and connector for longer run times.; please note that this will change the balance of the tool when in use. Please see below for running times on each available option.
