Front Mowers

Front mowers are are an excellent choice if your garden is not just an open rectangle of grass!  They come into their own dealing with gardens that have an abundance of trees, plants and flower borders, as they offer excellent manoeuvrability and fantastically clear forward views with no large bonnet to obscure the way ahead.

Fitted with either rear wheel steering or central articulation and the cutter deck out the front, it is really easy to get up to and under bushes and shrubs.

These front mowers are designed primarily with mulching in mind. The cutter deck is specially designed to give the highest quality mulched finish when you r lawn is cut regularly. Clippings are  mulched finely and spread evenly across the grass to act as a natural - and free - organic fertilizer!  Your lawn will look healthier and greener in no time!

If you have areas where mulching is not important, such as an orchard, a grass verge or a field for instance, where simply cutting and dropping the clippings would be acceptable, these models will easily convert to rear discharge.  The removal of a small baffle plate allows the grass to exit the deck after just one cut so that you can easily manage less frequently cut areas where the grass may be left to grow longer in between cuts.

Front mowers have lots of legroom too, so if you are a taller person, these models are well worth considering.
