GTA 26 CORDLESS GARDEN PRUNER: CORDLESS GARDEN PRUNER FOR TREES AND SHRUBS.
The STIHL GTA 26 is a cordless garden pruner with a wide range of uses; ideal for pruning trees & shrubs, cutting up garden waste for ease of disposal and even for small woodworking projects. It is part of the AS System of tools and this handy kit version comes complete with an AS 2 battery and an AL 1 charger so you are ready to get to work. The battery can run for up to 25 minutes on a charge which will be long enough to cut approximately 80 small-to-medium sized branches, and when it is time to recharge, the AS 2 will go from flat to fully charged within 80 minutes.
This handy tool is extremely lightweight at only 1.4kg including the battery and the comfortable rubberised handles make it easy to stay in control and be accurate with your cuts. It is extremely quiet with low vibrations and with no fumes from a petrol engine, it is much nicer to work with.
The STIHL Picco Micro 3 saw chain along with the high chain speed of 8 m/s ensure quick results and a clean cut while the moveable protective hood covers the chain allowing you to work as safely as possible without obstructing your view of the cuts you are making;
This kit comes complete with an AS 2 battery*, an AL 1 charger and a bottle of Multioil Bio for chain lubrication. Stihl have changed the kit and it now no longer contains the carry case, the box has been redesigned to work as a sturdy storage case for all components. There may be a cross-over between the model changes but moving forwards, the carry bag will be discontinued.
*Please note, the AS 2 battery works exclusively with products in the AS range only and is therefore not compatible with the HSA 25.
